About
I was born in Caracas. I am a travel, documentary and lifestyle photographer, a writer, a fan of airplanes and mass transportation, and a daydreamer.
I have an MFA in Photography from
Savannah College of Art and Design. Previous education includes an MS in Integrated Marketing Communications, a Law Degree and Literature studies. I first studied photography at
Roberto Mata Taller de Fotografía in Caracas, Venezuela.
I have worked with clients in Caracas, Atlanta, Seattle, Miami, Houston and London. I have also worked with small businesses and non-profit organizations such as FRESH! The Movie, Queen Anne Farmers Market, Aver School, Chocolopolis, Shutter Tours, Ellie Bluebell Designs, Dave Sheely Designs, Frenchy's Day Spa, Keren Brown Media, Suzuki + Chou Communimedia, The American Marketing Association, and Jamie Oliver's "Food Revolution" (Seattle Chapter). My photos have been published in Helio Magazine (Peru), Seattle Magazine and Refrigerator Soup Magazine, and have been featured online at The Food Network. Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution and Edible Seattle Magazine websites.
I have traveled thoroughly as a photographer. I have documentary work from Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Costa Rica, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, U.K., Canada, Venezuela and the US. I have shown my work in several cities in the United States and in Caracas.
I live Seattle, WA, with my husband Ryan, surrounded by delicious, warm coffee, chocolate and water.
